Dell’s U2720Q has one USB Type-C input/output which supports DisplayPort 1.4 video, 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 data transfers, and delivers up to 90W of power to compatible devices. It also has DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs, a USB 3.0 Type-C output that supports device charging up to 3A, and three USB 3.0 Type-A outputs, two of which support battery charging via the BC 1.2 spec up to 2A. If you’d like to output audio, there is a 3.5mm line out jack. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, this display features a tilt of -5 to 21°, a swivel of -45 to 45°, a pivot of -90 to 90°, a height adjustment of 5.12″, and a 100 x 100mm VESA mount.
Please note that when you select DCI-P3 as the color space, the luminance of the backlight defaults to 48 cd/m2. This can be manually adjusted by using the Brightness function under Brightness/Contrast in the OSD menu. Also, USB Type-C is not supported on Windows versions prior to Windows 10 and the audio line-out port does not support headphones. Lastly, in order to use the USB Type-A ports on the rear of the display, the U2720Q must be connected to your system via USB Type-C.
